Hello CEPA Members:

I trust this letter finds you all well. At the time of writing, it seems that Old Man Winter is still hanging in there. Let’s hope that summer gets here soon.

The CEPA Board Members have a meeting with Teck scheduled for April 22, 2017. The meeting is expected to include a tour of portions of the mine, including the reclaimed area that Teck is seeking provincial government Land Certification and release of. At our upcoming Annual General Meeting, we will be able to provide you updated information.

Once again, our Annual General Meeting will be held on the May long weekend. Please set aside 8:00 AM Saturday May 20th, 2017. Please come out with a view to become involved as there may be some vacant positions.

As you are aware, the CEPA website is now up and running at: https://www.cadominepa.ca/. As advised at our last AGM, we would like to eliminate using Canada Post for Newsletters and AGM notifications. Many of you will have received this letter by email; rather than by Canada Post; and we would appreciate getting the email addresses of those who receive this by mail.

As mentioned last year, Steve Calver is managing the website and is looking for additional information, photographs or Cadomin historical memorabilia that could be incorporated into the website. Please email your contribution to Steve at: scalver@shaw.ca

The Legion meeting will commence at 10:30 AM right after the CEPA meeting. There will be a pot luck dinner at the Legion on Saturday starting at 5:30 PM.
